Elizabeth Shuhan lives in Ithaca, NY with her husband, french horn player, Alex Shuhan and their 14 year old son, Nathaniel. Liz was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and lived in Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri and Arkansas before moving to upstate New York in 2004. That year, Liz became second mom to Nick, Sam and Max, her inspiration always.

When Liz is not teaching, playing, or working on administrative work at Opus Ithaca School of Music, you might find her practicing yoga, cooking, advocating for clean beauty with Beautycounter or hanging with family. Liz enjoys living in the heart of downtown Ithaca in her 1850’s home and walking her dog, Tina in the Fall Creek neighborhood.
